Has anyone ever developed a hard bony lump on their upper gum?

It might be a "tori" which is a your bones forming harmless lumps in your mouth. They can be on your palate, the roof of your mouth, or along your jaw by your lower teeth. It could also be some kind of abscess or it could even be a tumor. You should have your dentist take a look at it to make sure it is not cancer or something that could make you loose teeth.
