How do I consolidate mystudent loans?

I have a Fannie Mae, ACS, dept of education loans, is there a way to consolidate them so I'm paying one (hopefully lower bill), a month? I have seen commercial for companies offering this, but not sure if they are reputable. I would prefer not to take a personal loan from the bank. Thank you in advance.
