Has anyone ever attended the Bel Rea Institute?

Ok it is a GOOD school but in all honesty, think about a different one and save urself $5000+. Really all my training came from on the job, yes you get the logic behind it all but you can get that from a local community college that has a vet tech course. The way i see it i paid 18,000 for a career that barely makes that in a year, where as my boyfriend went to a regular college not a technical school and paid 8000 for a career that he is making 50,000/yr as a 1st yr on the job. If i knew then what i know now. As far as living there are alot of apts around, ok priced, the school is in aurora, when i went there i lived in thornton, which is cheaper, but like a 30 min drive. Jobs here in denver right now is this field are still kinda numerous, but hard to get into bc unemployment rate, so many people are applying as well. I am a 4yr experienced tech, was a lead surgery tech, dental tech, and ER tech and it took my 3 months!! to find a job. Shop around, look local or community colleges of denver if ur still wanting to come to CO
