How can people listen to extended periods of black/death metal without feeling homicidal?

I just watched a video by some band called Dimmu Borgir and Behemoth and watching another one by Nile and they all have really evil, sacreligious imagery. I do believe in God but i'm not a bible thumper, but still...the whole tone of the music and images was the embodiment of evil. The singers look like the walking dead. This seems like music played in hell. Seriously, if there was a haunted house where this stuff was blaring, you could not pay me a million dollars to enter. Do the people who listen to this stuff on a regular more antisocial and angry than any other person?
