Anger problems?

I have only one older sister and oftentimes she gets angry at me and shouts at me (she has a very bad temper). Then a couple minutes after her outbursts she comes to me for forgiveness. This situation is really bothering me because I am the one that suffers because of this. I have considered not talking to her again and distancing myself from her especially when I get older. What should I do about this situation? I have a lot of issues to deal with and this is just adding to my stress and frustration. If I refuse to talk to my sister my parents will quarrel with me about it.
