What do I say to her?

My dog dug up my neighbour's deceased pet rabbit (only I didn't know it was deceased) I thought it was just in shock, and glad to see no obvious injuries on her I tucked the poor wee thing back in her hutch amidst some straw. Later I heard my neighbour screaming and then the police came round. I opened my window to listen to the conversation and heard her say "some sicko had dug up her pet rabbit which she had just buried and put it back in the hutch". I am really embarred, only she'll never think it's me so should I just leave it?
