Why do people believe that Jesus is God?

I mean seriously I can say I am God. How about this I get about a couple people and I pay them to agree with me that I am God. Am I God now? How about if I lie to about a couple thousand people, am I God now? Jesus you know could've used the same tactics of Hitler. Hitler brainwashed like %70 of his people Jesus could've done the same maneuver to obtain believers. It is really easy to pay off a bunch of people to say that I am God. I can even do some magic tricks to some primitive people. Am I God now? Well I am God to that person that just saw the trick.
