How to remove spy wares?

I received a link at my messenger which turned to be a pack of spy wares , my background have changed to black with a center text tellin me that i've got viruses like trojan horse & others , plus my tray is informing me every minute that I've got spy wares , I had kaspersky installed and it did nothing. So I removed it and installed McAffe total protection & all it did is fixed one file from the infeced , while the other 156 were quarantined. I then discovered that my computer remained unchanged still the same warnings and stuff , even worse windows task manager was disabled , please tell me what to do & what suitable anti spyware or anitvirus shall i use , plus I need a free one or just anyone that i can find a crack cuz currently my credit card is in the renewal period (expired) & I really can't wait !!
