Monistat 3 treatment for yeast infections?

okay right now i am kinda scared because i dont know if this is normal or not. starting the other night i starting getting itching down there and a slight bit of swelling not very noticeable ( this is all on the outside of my ) so my boyfriend bought me monistat 3, the three day treatment. last night i inserted one of the oval treatments and when i pulled the aplicator out a little bit of booger like discharge came with it not a lot at all but still, i continued to put a pad pn incase of leakage. this morning when i woke up i went to the bathroom and everything felt like it was getting better i took off the pad went pee and the got up to walk when i noticed something felt funny... right on the outside of my it is swollen , i dont know if this is normal or not can someone help me with what this might be please. i cant go to my walk in clinic until five. and im scared
